Cemaes Heritage Centre is regularly looking for additional volunteers to assist in the organisation and running of the centre. We need help in the reception and gift shop area as well as guides for the museum itself.

Previous experience of museum work is not necessary - neither is an intimate knowledge of local history. Support and familiarisation will be provided.

Cwmni Cemaes Cyf. was established in September 1996 to support community projects that contribute to Cemaes & Llanbadrig being a sustainable community and to preserve and promote the rich heritage of Cemaes & Llanbadrig parish.

Cemaes Heritage Centre is run wholly by a group of hardworking volunteers. The centre is owned by a social-enterprise called Cwmni Cemaes Cyf.  It is run as a private company limited by guarantee without share capital - which means that all money generated goes back into supporting it’s local community projects and maintaining the heritage centre.

Cwmni Cemaes Cyf. is run by members, and relies mainly on income it generates from it’s community projects.

The heritage centre would be pleased to acknowledge, normally through this website and/or the press, any donation made.

Friends of Cemaes Heritage Centre is a group which is open to anyone with an interest in local history and heritage of the local area.
